Retail Sales Tax in Canada | Part 2 – Exemptions and Real Property
As a valued Ryan client, we invite you to join us for two informative sessions on retail sales tax in Canada. These sessions will highlight the most important issues posed by Canada’s retail sales taxes and provide an overview of the provincial sales tax (PST) in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. During these two sessions, our presenters will outline how these use taxes operate and underscore they are typically only required to be paid by the final consumer or user of taxable goods or services in a PST province.

The second webinar will explore how the legislation and current administrative policy apply to the various conditional and unconditional PST exemptions available in each province, including those in place for certain services, production machinery and equipment, and industry-specific items. In addition, a comprehensive review of the rules for real property will be included in this session.

The live two-hour sessions may qualify for up to four (4) CPE credits (*)
